• Don't touch it, be careful, and let it dry.
  It takes about 20 minutes to dry.
   

• Leave the dried henna paste on for at least 2 hours.
  The longer the better!
   

• The design will be a very light orange color and will continue to get darker for 2-3 days. 
   

• Avoid getting the henna stain wet for a day.
   

• To remove dried henna paste use lemon juice or natural oil (like coconut oil) instead of water. 
   

• To protect your henna design:
  Olive or coconut oil, shea or cocoa butter, or a natural lip balm.
   

• Doing this will shorten the duration of the design:
  Vaseline, mineral oil, scrubs, soap, chlorine, frequent washing or rubbing.
   

Henna will take 3 days to fully darken!
